I, Most Rev. Hilary Paul Odili Okeke was born on 21st January 1947. I studied at All Hallows Seminary, Onitsha and Bigard Memorial Seminary, Enugu. I was ordained a Priest on 20th April, 1974 by Francis Cardinal Arinze. I later studied Canon Law in Pontifical Urban University, Rome obtaining the Doctorate Degree in that discipline. I worked as the Judicial Vicar, Onitsha Archdiocese, Supervisor Special Duties, Anambra State Education Commission, Onitsha Zone, Lecturer in Canon Law, Catholic Institute of West Africa, Port Harcourt. Later I became the Episcopal Vicar for the Clergy and then Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Onitsha. I was a consultant to the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria before I was appointed the first Bishop of The Catholic Diocese of Nnewi. I was ordained and installed on 10th February 2002. I love reading and writing. I like to share the word of eternal life with anybody who is interested in seeking that one thing that is important: the Kingdom of God and its righteousness.
